The Art of Prayer and Praise
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. – Psalm 150:6
On this 75 day journey, praying 3 times daily is a prerequisite…
Today we will look at 3 ways that we can pray…
- Verbal Prayer
- Meditation Prayer
- Contemplation Prayer
With multiple ways to pray we must remember that prayer is simply an open line of communication between God and us; and how often we pray is tied to our understanding that HE is (always in control).
If you’re anything like me, before 75 days in Faith, my prayer life (was not consistent) and definitely needed a lot of improvement!
And to be honest, and transparent, before 75 Days in Faith, prayer felt more like a chore or a box that I had to check when I woke up or went to sleep.
But as I became consistent, praying 3 times daily, I quickly realized that prayer is not a chore… it’s a privilege.
As my prayer life became more consistent, I would soon realize that prayer was only half of the equation…
The missing piece was Praise!!!
The biggest blessing of my life was learning the power of combining both Prayer, and Praise!!!
When I began to Praise God consistently, regardless of my situation, that’s when I really began to see God move in my life!!!
My focus was no longer on all my problems, needs, and issues, but instead on a powerful, loving, and caring God who is very passionate about me!!!
Gods word says He inhabits our praises, and when He does His glorious power shows up, and He fills our hearts and minds with His presence.
On this 75 days in Faith journey, let’s work daily to combine our prayer, and praise so that we can see, and feel the FULL presence, and power of the Lord!!!

- Express your gratitude for Him
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the privilege of prayer, and praise, on this journey. Please help us deepen our relationship with you through the combination of both.
Thank You for reminding us that prayer is not a chore but a precious conversation with You, and that praise is a powerful way to invite Your presence into our lives.
We ask that You would help us to grow in devotion as we pray three times a day, and that our hearts may be lifted in praise (no matter the circumstances).
May we focus on Your greatness and love, trusting in Your power and control over every situation. Fill our hearts with gratitude, and let our prayers and praises glorify You.
