Day 20 of 75 days in Faith
God chooses to reward those who draw near to Him.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
– Hebrews 11:6
On day 20 of 75 days in Faith, we will discuss the importance of praise, and worship; and how God responds to it!
First off, what happens when we praise?
Praise opens the door to the supernatural, and closes the door to the natural; it shifts our focus to the One who’s in control, and pushes you into a mindset of gratitude and compassion.
The pressure of what we’ve been going through will suddenly fade away as we praise the Lord.
1 Peter 5:7 day, Cast your cares on Me for I care for you, this scripture is an example of how our praise literally sheds the weight that we’ve been carrying!
The shackles of worry, guilt, and shame immediately fall off according to Gods word when we invoke His presence through praise!
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
– 2 Corinthians 3:17
Prayer should always be preceded by praise to usher in the presence of God, and once His presence shows up, that’s when we feel the fullness of His power.
Think about it like this… when you attend a sporting event for your favorite team, before the team takes the field, do you cheer them on by saying nothing or mumbling? Or do you get loud?!!!
You get loud right!!!
A few things happen at this point. The team feels how much you care, and believe in them; and it lets the opposing team know who’s side you’re on.
Our praise to God is no different. It shows God how much we love Him; and lets the devil know what team we’re on!!!
When it comes to praising the Lord, we must remember, actions speak louder than words! And our outward expression always reflects the attitude of our heart.
On this 75 day journey, there will be days you won’t feel like worshipping God. But pressing through, and praising Him will bring on His presence, and not only change your attitude, but also change your perspective on what you’re going through.
The word Hallelujah is the combination of the word Halal which means (praise), and Yah which means (Yahweh). Together they mean “praise Yahweh” or “praise the LORD”
So today, let’s shout Hallelujah all day long and glorify the name of the Lord; regardless of what we’re going through!

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your presence, Your love, and Your faithfulness…
Today, we lift up our praise to You with hearts full of gratitude. We know that when we praise You, we open the door to the supernatural, and invite Your freedom into our lives.
We choose to cast our cares upon You, trusting that You care for us.
May our praise shift our focus to You, and may it remind us that You are always in control.
We trust You to reward those who draw near, and we press forward, knowing that our praise brings forth Your presence, which transforms our hearts and minds.
Thank You Lord for the freedom, and peace that comes when we worship You.
