Day 35 of 75 Days in Faith
Gods Timing Is Divine
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31)
On day 35 of 75 days in Faith, we will take a deeper look into Gods timing, and how divine it is.
The time that we’ve been blessed with on earth is a (gift from God). So we must always be mindful of how well we steward our time on a daily basis.
Our expectations of time is different from day to day, and differs also from person to person.
Take for an example, a shift worker who is tired, hungry, and ready to get off of work; the worker has become frustrated, and a bit grumpy due to the weight of their responsibilities at work.
And this person desires that time would pass fast, so that work can be over!
On another note, there’s a person who has been given a few weeks to live, and their perspective of time is totally different.
They wish that time would move at a slower pace, but reality is setting in, and they realize there’s nothing they can do to stop time.
Another example is a child who lost their mother, and would give anything to speak to her again, and be able to spend more meaningful time with her.
And on the other hand, there’s a child who still has their mother here on earth, but they value the time with their mother totally different.
Perspective of time, and just how precious it is, gives us a deeper appreciation for it…
Time is a gift from God, and what we do with our time is our gift back to God.
Thats why dedicating the first fruits of our day to God is so important…
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all things shall be added to you.
(Matthew 6:33)
So going forward, be intentional on proper planning and the stewardship of your time.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you gain wisdom with your daily schedule, and become more aware of how God wants you to spend your time each day.
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
(Psalm 90:12)
God has commissioned each of us with assignments on this earth, and the proper stewardship of our time will allow us to fulfill those our earthly duties.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gift of time. Help me to be a good steward of the time you’ve given me. Teach me to prioritize my tasks and to designate my time accordingly.
Help me to avoid procrastination and distractions. Empower me to stay focused, disciplined, and productive. Remind me to seek your guidance and direction, prioritize rest and self-care, be intentional with relationships of loved ones and to serve others while making a positive impact.
I will use my time in a way that honors you and aligns with your purposes. I will make the most of every moment and will leave a lasting legacy that reflects your love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
