Break Every Chain
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1 (NIV)
As we enter day 43 of 75 days in Faith, we will focus on the chains that can sometimes have us bound; and how we can break free.
Chains are a powerful symbol of bondage, restriction, and confinement. Whether it’s the chains of fear, addiction, shame, or sin, they have the ability to weigh us down and keep us from experiencing the freedom that God intends for us.
As we journey through life, we often face situations or struggles that seem to bind us, holding us in place and preventing us from moving forward in faith.
But the good news is that Jesus came to break every chain. And in Him, we find freedom from everything that seeks to enslave us.
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 5:1 that Christ has already set us free. His death and resurrection were the ultimate act of breaking every chain, releasing us from the power of sin and death.
We no longer have to live in the shadow of bondage; we can stand firm in the freedom He offers.
However, freedom in Christ is not passive, it requires action on our part. We must choose to stand firm in the freedom we’ve been given.
We must refuse to let ourselves be caught up again by the things that once held us back. Every time we face a temptation, a lie, or a fear that tries to bind us, we must declare the truth that in Christ, we are free.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Your Son to break every chain that seeks to bind me. Help me to stand firm in the freedom You’ve given me, not allowing fear, shame, or sin to have any hold over me. I trust that through Your strength, every chain is broken.
