The Power of The Holy Spirit
On this 57th day of 75 days in Faith we will discuss the Power of The Holy Spirit, and the effect that He can have on our lives.
The Holy Spirit is all knowing, and has the ability to (help us) navigate through each day effectively.
Life can, and will often, throw challenges our way that cause us to feel overwhelmed and confused.
But it’s in moments like those that we can (call on the Holy Spirit), and ask Him for (specific guidance) on how we are to handle our situations.
In the natural, the more time you spend with someone the better you know them. It’s also the same in the supernatural with Holy Spirit.
We must spend (time with Him) to have clarity on just how powerful He is, and understand how beneficial a direct connection with Him is.
To regain strength on this Faith walk, and stay focused throughout it remember these verses below:
(You will receive power) when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4).
He has the power to wash our sins away and make us new (Titus 3:5).
Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and the Holy Spirit dwells in you. (1 Cor. 3:16).
The Holy Spirit gave Joshua the power to lead Israel. “The Lord replied, ‘Take Joshua son of Nun, who has the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him. (Numbers 27:18).
Prayer
Father, thank you for 75 days in Faith. Thank you for giving us the order, structure, and discipline we need to grow closer to You.
As your children, through Jesus Christ our savior, we desire to be used as instruments for Your Kingdom.
We desire to receive your Promise of the Holy Spirit because we believe. Jesus, our Savior and King, (baptize us in the Holy Spirit) so that the (power) of Your resurrection will work in us, and transform us according to your will.
Holy Spirit, empower us, fill us up and overflow our cups. We hold nothing back from you. Work your gifts in us and through us. Use all of us, so that the Father’s Kingdom may be manifested in and through our lives.
We ask all this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
