Day 71 of 75 days in Faith
Rising Again
“For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of calamity.” — Proverbs 24:16 (ESV)

During our journey of 75 days in Faith, we have all experienced moments of failure. We will stumble, fall, and sometimes feel as if we are not measuring up to the calling You have placed on our lives.
Yet, Proverbs 24:16 assures us that even the righteous are not immune to falls—but what sets them apart is their ability to rise again. The righteous do not stay down; they trust in Your grace and find strength to get back up.

The beauty of this verse is that Your love for us isn’t contingent on our perfection. It’s in the rising again that we experience Your grace most profoundly. With every fall, You teach us resilience, and with every failure, You provide a new opportunity for growth.

How to Get Back Up After You Fall:

1. Acknowledge the Fall: Don’t shy away from acknowledging where you’ve stumbled. Recognizing your weaknesses allows Your strength to shine even brighter. 2. Repent and Seek Forgiveness: Confess your failures to God. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). 3. Remember God’s Promises: Meditate on His promises of restoration. God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). 4. Take Small Steps Forward: After a fall, don’t try to leap ahead. Take small, faithful steps toward God. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. 5. Lean on Others for Support: You don’t have to rise alone. Seek the support of your Christian community. Encourage one another in the faith, for we are not meant to walk this journey in isolation.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
thank You for Your grace and mercy that lifts me up when I fall. Help me to learn from my failures, to rise again with renewed strength, and to trust in Your faithfulness. May I remember that I am never too far gone to experience Your restoration.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
