Day 72 of 75 Days in Faith…
The Righteous fall down, but get up every time!!!
For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of calamity. — Proverbs 24:16 (ESV)
On this journey of 75 days in Faith, we have faced moments of failure. We stumbled, fell, and sometimes felt as if we aren’t measuring up to the calling God has placed on our lives.
Yet, Proverbs 24:16 assures us that even the righteous are not exempt to falls, but what sets them apart is their ability to rise again. The righteous do not stay down; they trust in God’s grace, and find strength to get back up.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
The best part of this verse is that God’s love for us isn’t contingent on our perfection. It’s in the rising again that we experience His grace in abundance!
With every fall, God teaches us to be resilient, wait upon Him, and with every failure, He will provide a new opportunity for growth.
Ways to remain in (Faith) and get back up again…
1. Acknowledge the Fall: Don't shy away from acknowledging where you've stumbled. Recognizing our weaknesses allows God’s strength to shine even brighter. 2. (Repent) and Seek Forgiveness: Confess your faults to God. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). 3. Remember God’s Promises: Meditate on His promises of restoration in Gods Word. God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). 4. Keep moving in the right direction: After a fall, remember to let the Lord guide you, and take small, faithful steps toward God. Remember, no matter how small the step is; keep going. 5. Trust your support system: You don’t have to get back on your feet all alone. Seek the support of your family, friends, and those who will hold you accountable. Encourage one another in the faith, with the understanding we are not meant to be isolated and alone.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your Grace, and Mercy that lifts me up when I fall. Help me to learn from every failure, and to rise again with renewed strength!
Lord help my unbelief, and help me to trust in Your faithfulness that’s been so consistent throughout my life.
Lord help me to remember no matter how tough things are that You are a restorer and nothings to hard for You.
All this we ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.
